The primary goal of this workshop is to help professionals who have little or no knowledge in taxation in developing knowledge of indirect taxes. Sales and service tax (SST) imposed on consumers, importers, local and foreign service providers, collected from consumers and accountable to Royal Malaysian Customs.
With effect from 1st September 2018, sales and service tax is reintroduced in Malaysia to replace GST which lasted 3 years 5 months (1/4/2015 – 31/8/2018).
