TSY In House Training #827: Operational Excellence in Warehouse Management & CTPAT Readiness
Training on the go.

In today’s highly regulated and export-driven business environment, the warehouse plays a critical role far beyond storage and dispatch. Weak warehouse discipline, poor stock accuracy, unsafe handling practices, and lack of security awareness can directly lead to shipment delays, audit failures, product losses, and serious compliance risks. For organizations involved in international trade, warehouse operations are also closely linked to security programs such as CTPAT, making floor-level awareness and discipline more important than ever.

This 2-day practical training program is designed specifically for lower-level warehouse employees, team leaders and supervisors to strengthen their understanding of the entire warehousing flow, daily operational discipline, continuous improvement methods, and most importantly, CTPAT awareness and audit readiness. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the full warehouse process—from receiving to storage, picking, packing and dispatch—using simple explanations, visual examples and hands-on workshops.

Special attention is given to why CTPAT exists, what it protects, and what every warehouse employee must do daily to support CTPAT compliance. The training also prepares participants for upcoming audits by helping them understand what auditors look for, common non-conformities, and how to behave during audits.

The learning approach uses short 30-minute lectures followed by classroom workshops, case studies, simulations and group activities, making learning highly engaging and easy to apply at the shop-floor level. While slides will be in simple English, the program will be delivered primarily in Bahasa Malaysia to ensure full understanding by all participants.
