Course Objectives:
On completion of this module, students will be able to improve their skills required for the following, apply them positively to their business transactions, solve the problems arising from the practical field and make the over-all risk management from the viewpoints of related issues:
Understand the Harmonized System (HS) and HS Classification
Understanding the definition of a free zone and the Fee Zone Act 1990
Identifying the differences and characteristics of a Free Industrial Zone and the Free Commercial Zone
Understanding what a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LWM) is and its part in the principal Custom Act.
Understanding Incoterms from buyers’ perspective in procurement

Training Methodology:
Practical case studies to cover the whole modules and topics and strengthen the meanings. In addition to Microsoft word, instructor will use the Microsoft Power point and video presentation.
