Lockout Tagout refers specifically to procedures used to ensure that equipment is shut down and inoperable unit maintenance or repair work is completed. They are used to keep employees safe from equipment or machinery that could injure or even kill them if not manage correctly.
To prevent accident/incident hazard communication is vital. Hazard communication is part of identifying existing risk. Analyzing the hazard and creating a communication method shall prevent time and life lost.
