AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) has been the pivotal point for developing the 5 core tools that eventually became the building blocks of an effective IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System. Basically, it consists of Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode-&-Effect Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC). The course gives an over-view of the 5 core tools and its applications from manufacturing perspectives.
