Course Introduction:
The Environmental Quality Act (EQA) has been amended and it includes amongst others, a heavier penalty for non-compliance both in terms of a fine and a jail term.
EQA (Scheduled Waste) Regulations 2005 states, “Every waste generator shall ensure that all his employees in-volved in the identification, handling, labelling, transportation, storage, and spillage or dis-charge response for scheduled wastes attend training programmes.”
The one day course critically reviews the Regulatory and other requirements focusing on managing scheduled waste for industries too.
