Hazardous waste or in Malaysia it is called Scheduled Wastes are very toxic and dangerous. Improper management and handling of such waste will lead to series pollution of the environment and the ecosystem as well as immediate or long term impact to human safety and health.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify Scheduled Waste hazards and handle Scheduled Waste safely during emergency spillage.
Manage and reduce Scheduled Waste risks at the workplace during spillage
Understand the chemical safety datasheet and chemical labels during emergency spillage.
Identify appropriate personal protective equipment during emergency situation.
Estimating where the spill will travel and how quickly that will happen;
Assisting with the response, cleanup, sampling, and post-spill damage assessment and restoration.
