
This program provides participants with practical, hands-on experience with Ford Motor Company's 8D systematic process for resolving complex "cause unknown" situations. The process presented is composed of eight systematic disciplines in which decision analysis, problem-definition, and problem prevention techniques are featured, and the application of tools such as statistical process control and design of experiments are discussed. When correctly followed, the process helps to facilitate a timely and permanent resolution to a problem.
This course emphasizes the utilization of cross-functional teams, provides guidelines for the appropriate composition of those teams and suggests governance process in ensuring proper and effective 8D is being done in respective organization.

Follow the 8D steps and complete the 8D report form properly.

The course content & concepts are explained using every day analogies and real world examples. The learner will get hands-on experience with a fun game and step-by-step examples in a workshop environment.
