This course is designed for non-electrical engineering and technical staff who have to work together with electrical engineers, technicians and electricians involved in projects to ensure the safe design, construction, operation and maintenance of electrical power system in compliance with Malaysian Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994 including Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act EECA 2024 & Regulations EECR 2024 for the efficient design, construction, installation operation & maintenance.

Electrical power system must be properly designed, constructed, and maintained to ensure safety of installation and maintenance operators & technicians and the reliable operation of equipment when commissioned. Course topics include introduction to electrical power system for electrical installation requiring design, construction, opera-tion, maintenance & troubleshooting of electrical power system.
